Frequently Asked Questions (FAQ)

  1. How long do I have to wait until I get my BitDefender license key?

    Your BitDefender license key will be sent to you via email no later than one (1) working day during office hours (Mondays to Fridays, 8am to 5pm). However, if you have requested for it outside of said office hours or during public holidays, please expect to receive it on the next immediate working day.

  2. Can I go ahead and install the BitDefender software while waiting for my license key?

    Yes, please note that you may already install your BitDefender software even without receiving your license key yet, as the software will automatically run using the default 30-day trial key. After receiving your license key from us, you can simply insert said license key in your already-installed BitDefender software.

  3. Why do we need to go through this registration procedure? Why can’t we get the license key upon purchase?

    This registration procedure is being implemented for security purposes to protect you against fake or hacked BitDefender license keys. It also allows us to track the legitimate users from those who have simply gotten their hands on a "wandering" serial number and have tried to register or use a license key they have not purchased (particularly for BitDefender consumer/desktop products).

  4. I registered the serial number during your office hours, but I have not received my license key yet. It has been more than 1 day!


    If you have not received your license key within one working day, please check your Spam or Bulk folder. Based on our experience, users who give this feedback will always find that their license key(s) has already been sent and was directed to the Bulk folder, particularly if you are a Yahoo! User.

    We ask that you include our domain name ipsystems.ph in your whitelist or trusted contacts so that our messages do not get tagged as spam.
